Inventory Control

The TIMS Inventory module provides the tools needed to track receivings, usages, adjustments and transfers related to specific warehouses and depots or stock in general.  Stock takes can be custom designed to allow the user to focus on a particular range of item codes, bin locations or random selection of items.

Easy data entry screen for entering receivings, adjustments, transfers and usages.

Warranty tracking is available in terms of months, kilometres and/or engine hours. This is closely related to and integrated with the TIMS Purchase Order and Fleet Maintenance modules.

Expected Life of an item can be entered in terms of months, kilometres and/or engine hours. This enables the manager to identify parts not lasting an expected period and to take pro-active maintenance.

Serialised Item tracking of major parts can be used. E.g. Tyre recaps and position on the vehicle can be tracked by serial number.

Stock items can be grouped into 3 $-Value categories to determine the frequency those items are included in a generated cyclic stock take.

Rebuild Items can be assigned to an Item which automatically raises a service requirement in TIMS Fleet Maintenance when the associated Item is replaced on a vehicle.

Each Item File is linked to service and repair history showing which vehicles have been fitted with this part.

Consumable groups can be setup as Items which enables the weighted amortization of consumable costs across the whole fleet for a specified period.
